My Volvo V50 has the most terrible smell after running. Seems to be from the exhaust. The model is a 2005 V50 2.0D.
I can only describe the smell as like rotting vegetables! Could ANYONE please help explain what the problem is?! Thanks. |

Clutch,smells likes rotten eggs if strain on clutch ,especially reversing on hills .We had a new clutch after 8 weeks of purchasing our new V 50 2.0 TDI estate,still smells when reversing on hills .

Hi there. I have the same problem its been back to the dealer who says it was a condensor in the air con unit. They replaced it and it still does it. Smells like rotten eggs or stagnent water. It does it on start up and then intermittently its going back in tomorrow so i will keep you posted.
