Just bought a V70 T5 2001 and one of the things which need to be fixed is the backseat head restraint. Some previous interested buyer apparently pulled too hard on the releasetabs for the head restraint and now it won't pop back into its upright position.
Anyone knows how to fix this?
Thanks!

Not sure how to fix but I believe the leather comes off very easy.If you look at the bottom where to 2 peices meet they are tucked together I believe.I know they come apart pretty easy but just don't remember exactly. It's been a while since I took one apart.

Hi Mr Tech,
Thank you for your suggestion. Took the time today to fix the head restraint.
I detached the plastic mouldings from underneath the backseat head restraint. Through the black plastic underneath I saw that the mechanism worked just fine with some help of a screwdriver so I ended up spraying the nuts, bolts and springs with WB40. The head restraint pops back in place like it should...
Thanks for your help.
