Hello to all:

My name is Scott and I from Ohio. I am in the works to buy a nicely loaded 04 T6 AWD with 57k miles. Any suggestions and or comments would be welcomed.

Whats the average gas mileage for this model with the T6 power plant?
Any major issues with the drivetrain I should be aware about for this model?
Any electrical issues that I should be aware about?

Hi scott,
I'm a technician for volvo and may be able to answer your questions. You should be able to get around 270 miles out of a tank of gas, give or take a few miles. Your car does have a a weak point that you need to watch. The transmission in the T6 is made by General motors and is very unreliable, I've replaced many over the years. Keep on top of fluid changes and software upgrades, but this may not even prolong the life. Best of luck

Well thank you very much for the heads up! I went ahead bought the vechile and so far I am very happy with it. We drove it some 500 miles in 3 days and it seemed to run great. I am going to take it to Frank Z Volvo in Dayton, Ohio and have it gone thru and have all the updates checked.
