Hi, Can anyone recommend a dedicated Volvo shop in the NYC area? My mechanic on many years recently passed away. Thanks for the help.

My brother-in-law is a mechanic at a volvo dealership...He might be willing to do some work in the side.

What type of issues would you need resolved immediately?

I'm looking for someone I can go to regularly. My car has 148k on it. It needs a regular service. In addition it has some rattling noises coming from the suspension, I think. Also a problem where when I start the idle is really rough. I turn the car off and start again and idle is normal. there is a squeaking noise that I think is emergency brake related.
