Hi,

Could someone please offer me some advice on chaning my tires.

I have a T5 S60 with 17 inch tires (P235 45 17 V-rating). My car came stock with Pirelli' P6 four seasons and I would like to change them to something a little smoother, without having sloppy handling.

Would it be dumb to go down to an "H-rated" tire (like the Yokohama Avid H4s)? Would that affect the performance or tread life too much?

Anyone have any tires with the "235 45 17V" size that they like?

Does anyone have any experience with the Yokohama Avid H4s, BF Goodrich G-Force Sport, or the Continental ContiProContact tires?

Which ones would you buy? I can get these tires within a similar price range.

Sorry to your query above. But incase you are interested, other good but cheap options are Toyo and Hankook. Checkout their performance range.
