Hello members,

I have an '85 740 Turbo that I'll be bringing back to life and using soon.
It's been a "drivers ed." vehicle for the past 5 years, and survived all o f
that pretty much unscathed.

Now, it will help me commute to work each day ( I'll say 100miles/day)
until I can find a place to stay closer to work.

My 740 has a sunroof that was tricky to close when used , ever since I
bought the car 5 years ago, and has now become unwilling to close on it's
own, using the crank( I must assist with the other available hand/arm).

Is there an adjustment for this? It almost seems like only one side of the
mechanism is doing any work, and the other side is just dragging.
I've cleaned and lightly lubed the track , and area over which the sunroof
traverses and it is better, but always seems to stop abruptly at the air dam.


Anyway, that's my intro. I hope to have lots of fun with this neverending
"project". :P
