I just bought a stick 850 wagon. it's a sweet ride and i got a killer deal on it. I want to put some stylish wheels on it. my local mechanic says go big and put some type R wheels on it, but that's going to cost me. I found a set of s40 wheels for super cheap, but i'm not sure if they'll fit the 850. Anybody have any advice???

thanks.

You are in Kuala Lamupur?? Wow!! I just got back from a year of teaching English in S. Korea. I visited Thailand, Vietnam and China. I would have loved to have checked out Malayasia, but didn't have the time. I hear it's beautiful there. As for the Volvo, she's a running good, but i had to disconnect the battery to reset the "check engine" light. Thus, when i tried to get it to pass emissions test, many codes came up "not ready". Also, when putting a surfboard in the vehicle i knocked my rearview mirror off. Bummer!! It's not going back in. Anyways it's a wagon....that acts like a truck. I've already hauled concrete and huge pieces of plywood. I dig it. Anyways...when she's all styled out i'll put 'er in the garage.

holla'

Old S40/V40 wheels wont fit, new S40/V50 wheels *may* fit, but I'm not sure, S/V70, S60 and possibly S80 all fit

Can anyone confirm that 2005 S40 rims will fit a five stud (1994+) 850?
Im fairly certain they will as I cant find a mention of Volvo having anything other than a 108 PCD for thier 5 stud rims....
Cheers from New Zealand

Get them 17 inches rims, you coud get replicas or the originals. No need to shop for new ones, refurbish rims you could find at chop shops, some of them just needs a round of polishing to look beautiful again. You'd also need 17 inch rims in case you'd want to upgarde your brake kits later.

As for me, them pegs look hot!

Not sure, about that. But you can check for yourself.

Look at the back of the S40 rims, and read whats written there.

Hey Bear, thanks!

I got them new, Balok's are 18 inches. Mine are 17s. I walked into a tyre shop after an exhausting search all over Kuantan for some 205/50/16 which seemed to have gone out of stock in the whole country. The guy immediately offered them through a catalog. Ordered, paid, arrived next day and was installed with potenzas CR001s.

I like em. :P

235 for the front?
Your turning radius must be HUGE!
