I am very sorry for those really seeking help on this forum, I recently posted a question, but to no avail were there no answers. I just purchased a 2003 s80t6 and am quite pleased (so far). I really was hoping to be on a forum where people share ideas and help others really save money from the stealers. I am part of the BMW forum and people there won't shut up! If you truly value and love your car I suggest you speak up and help each other out. I saved thousands from forums and have actually changed/fixed majoe parts of my engine thanks to those willing to help. I hope not offend, but only want to encourage those who can offer your help to speak up. Good luck. I am new to the Volvo line up, but will be of any assistance possible...

:cat: Hi there acupajoe.

I read your first post. It is somewhat difficult to see your concerns and questions from your posting.

Your posting was actually a commentary about what you have done in the past and what you intended to do in the futher.

Your question about the phone 'what does the phone do' is actually axiomatic.

As for the remark about the bluetooth-you didn't give us too much information about what it was that you wanted to know. Perhaps some more details could stimulate a response from the experts.

Cheers :right:

Thank you for the reminder, acupajoe.

In an way, I too have been away for some time. For good reasons, of course.

Thanks.

The only question I can find in your original post was does the built in phone have bluetooth connectivity. As I myself also have no idea, I would,

1- Use the search function (you are not new to forums and therefore know what a pain it can be for people to ask questions that have/may have been asked many times before). Heres the result of "bluetooth". I hope it helps...

2- Realizing that you are new to Volvos, the following site is an excellent resource...
http://www.volvocars.us/tools/OwnersInfo/
It is also in "links to forums" in the general Volvo forum.

3- You will find on this forum that if no one knows the answer, you wont have any replies. I have no idea what the answer is to your question, so I would not have answered either.

Have you made a decision on the S80? It would be nice to see you back if you get it :grouphug:

Joe....
I am new as well to the forum...but certainly not to Volvos. I highly doubt that the phone, which was actually part of the On Call Plus program that came std with the 2003 S80T6 model, is compatible with the new blue-tooth technology.
It has only been in the last year or so that Volvo began offering the bluetooth upgrade on the 05 and newer models.
As is the case with almost all electronics...by the time the automakers catch up to the new technology...it has changed again.....makes it very frustrating for both dealers and consumers.
