OK so I'm PISSED.

Here's the deal, right now, I have two cars. an 83' Ford and an 89' Volvo. Currently, I'm living at home. The Volvo I won't be able to pony up a year's insurance on for at least another two months or so, and I don't want to for three. The ford will be running out in one, so I was thinking I'll just let it all run out, sell the ford to my little sister who just turned 16 and sit tight for a bit. However, my **** of a father, REFUSES to let me park my Volvo in HIS driveway. :banghead:
He says it's one or the other. I want to pay off some bills and take public transit for a month or two, and get some debt taken care of and wrapped up. But he's too much of a **** to park one of HIS THREE CARS on the street for just a short while. Oh and of course, because he runs his own business from our home and has clients coming over maybe, twice a month, I can't double up the cars behind one another heaven forbid it should cause a slight inconvenience with a client having to park on the street :nono:
So we had a disagreement, and then he just begins yelling at me about he wants NEITHER car in his driveway and the Ford has to go out on the street, TONIGHT, and stay off? :grr:
**** I'm so mad.
Hopefully, my friend Brian (who I only met a month ago, by the way, and takes public transit or walks to work) will let me put the spare car in his spot, if it's not already taken or rented, and won't charge me too much. Such needless ****!

/Rant off.

He's got three cars right?
He can't drive them all at once, why not ask him if you can use one of his cars and sell the ford and volvo.

Stir stir........

Stu.

I have to store the volvo for a little while
I won't be in town for a few months, and I'm not going to just sit on an insured car for a few months at $180/mo

I know this happened a long time ago, but cool down. :)

That's the way with fathers. They cant give-in to you. They just cant. Afterall, he's your father, dude. You have a much, much better chance of getting something with talking maturedly than yelling like you said you did. :)

In time, you will understand. That is, if and when you get the chance to be a father, as well...

:)

In the meantime, cheerio!

BTW:
S60R is right. Just park both cars on the street. If anything were to happen, well, SO WHAT? Right? SH%T HAPPENS, even if you're doing nothing, spending time away, smoking pot under a tree, anyhow.
