my headligt and indicator/sidelight had a bad connection and was dimming out, so after an hour or so of cleaning and remaking the bulb connectors i started working back along the loom and found the problem the multi connector that i cleaned last week - one of the bloody spades had pushed out of the block and left the lights earthing through the indicators

When you put the conectors in make sure all the wires are tight!

druid, Thanks for the tip. I melted down some wires when I put my fog lights on the front bumper. I grounded the hot wire to the bumper. They work now. Probably a good thing I was a policeman and not an electrician.

i would ask anybody else were they got the brackets from but i asume you made your own?

Yep,

Thats one advantage of owning a blacksmith shop. It didn't help me much until I grounded it right though.
