Hi,

I have a noise coming from the rear of my car (66 122s) that I assumed was my differential wearing out. There is a grinding noise when the car is in motion. But...lately I have observed that when I am going around corners the noise is much worse.
Could this be a bearing instead? It isn't too bad and people aren't stopping to stare yet, but it is clearly noticable when I am in tight spots like alley ways or on narrow streets. I havn't taken the car apart yet, but is there an outer bearing on the rear axle? How about you druid? any ideas. Anybody else?

can't help on that one mate. just get under there with it on stands and turn the wheels and listen
