Hello!
My S70 is in need of a new clutch, its a 1998 2L petrol. I was wondering if anybody knows what the best way of droping the gearbox from the car? I know there is a subframe which must be dealt with in the process, must I remove the subframe completely and hold the engine from above? ir can the engine be supported from below during the process? Is it possible to remove the gearbox with while just leaving the subframe go on one side? or is the better to drop the subframe,engine and gearbox all together as one unit? If anyone has a detailed description of the procedure involved it would be great! My car does not have a duel mass flywheeel by the way. Thanks to anyone who can offer any help! much appreciated! |

I think i'll try and hold the engine from above and remove the subframe, if anyone knows this is the right or wrong way to go or has some advice generally I'd love to hear it. Thanks!!
