Hey guys the other day my Volvo was leaking a lot of water and the engine was overheating so i decided to add water to the radiator. to my surprise the whole thing was empty so when i added water to it, right away the added water came rushing out of the circular hole in the radiator. I put up pictures of the mysterious hole the water comes out. don't really know was there a plug there before or what??? (i know im suppose to add coolant with the water but i don't wanna do that until i know why the water keeps coming out of this hole)

check the dip stick for your transmission fluid,as your water has been leaking in to your transmission oil cooler , if that is the case ,you need drain your gearbox, and then refill it, but the first thing is check the dip stick if milky fluid found ,change the radiator as it has a leak from the radiator through to your oil cooler, and go on you-tube to see how drain your fluid from the gearbox you are giving it a full fluid change.
