Hi, I am having an issue on my 2004 Volvo V40.
After a long list of troubleshooting, I think I should be able to start my car by jumping the starter solenoid so I can take it to a mechanic. However, I've been staring at my engine for a bit trying to locate my starter, but I can't seem to find it anywhere looking down at the engine. I haven't looked underneath the engine yet because I don't have any car stands and I'd rather not try to jack it without using em. my Haynes says for non GDI remove the inlet manifold, unclip the plastic guard to expose the wiring terminals.
it also says the fixing bolts are in the transmission bellhousing. hope that is of some assistance. Grendel |
