Just purchased a 2010 XC 90 with the dual dvd's in the headrest, how do I get the audio to play through the car speakers?

The audio is working properly with the wireless headphones, but I can't figure out how to make it play through the car audio speakers.

Thanks

I don't believe it is possible to play the RSE throught he cars speakers - probably too distracting to the driver. But you can plug any ipod headphones into the rear headphone sockets and listen through that, just push the select button until you hear the DVD.

Yes you can play the rse through your car speakers. Each unit has its own transmitter, I don't remember if it's AM or FM, but you scan through your radio until you find it. I used to install them at the dealership all the time. Good luck.

I am having the same problem; did it work for you? I see on the screens where I can toggle from speakers to headphones, but can't get speakers to highlight.

I figured it out, for at least my car. Radio needs to be on the "AUX" setting.

Here is a YouTube video that overviews the RSE in the xc 90. It shows how using the DVD menus (using the remote) you can set the FM transmitter to send a signal to the car's radio.

hi

I'm a new volvo owner and struggling with this. I read somewhere that you have to set the dvd audio menu to A.I.I.
How do you do this?
