How can you tell if your XC90 has rain sensing windshield?

You know if you have that feature if you have rain sensing wipers. It's not the windshield, nor the wipers that sense the rain, it's a sensor that is located within the rear view mirror mounting trim. You need to know if you have that feature when ordering the windshield. I'm not sure if the glass is any different, or if the labor is a factor. It just may bet the installers (Safelite) needed the info to cover their tail if something came up later.

Thanks for the reply. I checked and the rain sensing is part of the convenience package, I read the manual and tested it and the wipers ran when the wind shield was wet.

Got to get a requote now lol.
No doubt will cost more that the orignal quote (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Had the new windshield installed this morning. Crystal Glass did it for just under $400 CAD inlc install, they did a good job. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)
