Hi

I have a 2004 XC90 which has been imported from Japan. The range of FM frequencies available on the factory-fitted stereo is very limited and I want to extend the range. In a traditional car radio you can simply add a "band-expander" however given the optical system for the XC90 it's not that simple.

Does anyone know of a simple solution?

Cheers

Mike

OK, I know it is very late for an answer but I tried this at my local Volvo dealer in New Zealand and they were able to change the computer language to english but said they couldn't change the radio frequencies by software. I was quoted over NZ$2000 for the part needed for NZ frequencies. The computer language change cost NZ$400 so pricey for a bit of software I thought.
