Hey guys, this is my first real post here and I apologize in advance for the stupidity of the question. Anyway, I managed to break the plastic hatch handle on my 855AWD the other week and so of course I just went and got the whole black panel with the plate lights, handle, and lock cylinder in it.
The plan is to obviously swap the lock cylinders so I still have the right cylinder in my new handle/trim/light piece. Problem is I can't figure out how to get the cylinder out without breaking the guide and the actual trim piece. Help please.

I fix cars for a living, so obviously I'm extremely embarrassed that I have to ask this.
Cheers,
Andrew

take off your door trim panel now you need a torch , now it should be a thing that looks like a cir clip you pull this off to the side, you will have removed the rods from it first, now remove the cylinder, by lifting out of the hole.
