1st of all Hello to all. This is our 2nd Volvo XC90 we have owned. We love the vehicle. However, we have a problem with the leather seats looking completely wrinkled and worn. I might add we have very clean kids and wife driving the vehicle. I have added pictures below. Has anyone else seen or have this issue. Has anyone spoken to the stealership about this problem? Your help is much appreciated! Thanks.

Hi, I had a similar experience with a V70 drivers seat some years back and it also wore very badly at the joins where sewn together. It was still under warrantly and after some effort on my behalf and support from the dealer, Volvo Australia agreed to have the seat covering replaced. If your vehicle is still under warranty I suggest that you lean very heavily on the dealer to lodge a warranty claim.

Wow they are bad! (no offense) I thought mine were crappy.

I used the rejuvenator and cleaner on my 2007 XC90 and I was delighted to see my armrest return to light tan (I honestly forgot it was two tone leather interior). It won't completely fix the cracks BUT it cleans out the gunk that shows the cracks and it smooths the leather so it's less likely to crack.

It's worth the dough! It's easy to apply.

The cracking is due to dryness. You must hydrate the leather with a good leather conditioner. Once leather is cracked, there's no way to bring it back.

The discoloration is from dirt.

You can get a leather cleaner to safely remove the dirt, then a conditioner to keep it from getting worse.

There's no easy way to restore it... It's permanently damaged.
