Hey guys,

I need some help.

The car is a Volvo V70 2.0l petrol automatic pII.

I have decoded the vin and it tells me a 2002, first odd issue as it was bought in Ireland October 01 according to the books and paperwork it came with. The second thing is the engine code is 49 which is a B52204T5, which lines up with the engine number.

But I cannot find any information on this engine at all, it's like it doesn't exist anywhere on the Internet.

I have a suspected blown turbo (blows smoke intermittently and mechanic seems to thing this might be the issue) and I want to find out some info on the motors and search for turbos/spare parts.

Can anyone help?

take off and clean your inter cooler first as must of the time when people think the turbo has gone it is a dirty inter cooler.clean with degreaser after pouring out the water oil mix found in your inter cooler, try that first.
