I have a "bulb out light" on my dash, but all of my bulbs are functioning. I understand that you should change bulbs in pairs (or at least make sure the bulbs are the same wattage), but I have not changed any bulbs recently.

The light just came on.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the bulbs one by one to no avail.

Anyone know what can cause this?

Thanks,

Paul

it can be your bulb warning relay is starting to fail,or it is the bulbs that the relay controls that is starting to fail, check each bulb so if it is starting to go black.

I would double check all the bulbs for function, there are some obscure ones perhaps you missed, such as the little running lights in back. In other words, it's likely the thing is correct and there is a bulb out. And yes, change the bulbs in pairs and DO NOT touch the bulbs with your fingers, use a napkin or something. I spent considerable time chasing bulb outages before I learned the two key lessons: change in pairs and don't touch the bulbs.
