I have just had my C70 serviced, and the dealer has mentioned that there is some play, but nothing major in the front near side Anti-roll bar link. Do anyone know what this is

I am looking to buy a new car and amongst others test drove a 2000 2.3 t5. I fell in love with it almost immediatly but it was an automatic and i really would prefer a manual. Has anyone come across a problem of the driveshaft coming out of the gearbox/diff on the V50.

This happened to me last year whilst touring in france, the local dealer in Orlean diagnosed a faulty gearbox (automatic) and wanted to fit a new gearbox, fortunately "Volvo Assistance" stepped in and arranged hire cars to get me to the channel port,...

Any suggestions on how to get the rear section of the top to unlatch?....the dealer can't get into the motor/sensors to recalibrate because they can't get the top to go up or down(manually or electronically).

It's worked perfectly. was putting up the top, when the rear section went to latch, it caught but I had to manually close it the last inch or so with the tool volvo...

I have a 2000 C20 HPT coupe - using the standard alam/immobiliser than came with the car.

Now when I lock the car using the remote, the lock knobs both go down on the doors. However, when I pull the door handle on the passenger side, the door opens!! (and the alarm starts). Tried it on the drivers side but the door is really locked.

I have had my C70 for 3 years now and have had these lowering springs sitting around for about a year. I want to get them put on but I wasn't sure if I would need to get anything else other than just the springs to drop the car about 1.25".

Does anyone know a safe way to debadge? I read in a forum that a guy used a hair dryer, has anyone here ever tried it? I dont want to ruin the adhesive, because I just misplaced the letters. So I'd be putting them right back on.
