I have a 2006 XC70. Most of the time, when I turn the engine off, I can hear the turbo spinning down. But sometimes I don't hear it. Shouldn't the turbo always spin when the engine is running and shouldn't it, therefore, always spin down when the engine is shut off?

My 1999 V70 has a problem that i hope someone has an idea for. Occasionally (and more frequently lately) the dash brake warning light comes on, the speedomter drops to 0, the odometer goes to dashes, and there is reduced power when driving.

This sounds expensive, and I am hoping someone might know what it is? Thank you so much-- Bevin

I bought the iPod Music Interface from dealerfit.com, but cannot figure out where under the center armrest the connection is that they say is there. Anyone have experience doing this themselves? The dealer wanted $400-$500 I think for the cable and the install, got the cable for under $50. Please let me know if you can help.

I recently bought a 2002 V70 d5 with about 93K miles and have just towed a caravan for the first time. Even with quite a small weight on the towball the rear end dips severely when stationary, but when moving I had no problems with grounding even on rough and bumpy roads.

Hi. I searched the forums and I did not find my problem.

My RTI system was going out and back in again several times: the map was disappearing when passing from an area to the next, and so on... like it was not reading the DVD well.

I know of course that DVD and the lens get covered by the dark dust of the city traffic, and an evening, with grat care, I cleaned the disk.

I just ordered a 2008 Volvo XC70 with DVD navigation. I understand that Volvo just changed the system (apparently only on the XC70) that uses DVD. To change from USA DVD to European DVD, you only have to buy the appropriate DVD.

However, I understand that European DVd has no voice function? Anyone know of this problem and when Volvo thinks they will have a fix?

I want to mount a large (180 cm x 110 cm) roof rack on my 2004 model XC70 for a long overland trip in Africa. Does anyone know the LOAD LIMITS of the roof rails on the XC70, or where I can get such information?

I just bought a 2007 XC 70. Love the car, but had a bad enough experience at the dealership that I couldn't stomach giving them an additional $500 to install the iPod adapter in the car.

Does anyone have suggestions on the best way to connect my iPod to my stereo? I currently have iTrip, which is servicable, but there is a fair amount of static that comes across...
