I have had my 08 S80 now for 3 months. I have had an intermittant problem that the dealership cannot replicate and the mechanic has not seen this issue yet.

Does anyone else find that the power steering on their S80 sporadically get really tight after starting the car? To the point it feels like the power steering is gone? I am finding that, with an unknown...

I recently bought the new volvo s80 D5 fully accessoried and, to my surprise, the OEM bluetooth phone did not pair with my nokia n80. I tried with the old 6600 and still have a lot of problems. It seems that my bluetooth only works with a couple of models of very old nokia and motorola. I was promised a software update in a month or so but no news yet.
Anybody can help????

I am looking at a used 2007 S80 at Carmax with 5,700 miles. The Carmax rep couldn't tell me if Volvo had a warranty transfer fee. Can anyone help? This looks like a great vehicle and would be my first Volvo.

Curious if the issue is unique to my 2007 S80 - although I have noticed it on the same model that I used as a loaner car. Two things about the seat belt warnings:

The European S80 apparently has a known problem with communicating via bluetooth with a Blackberry phone. Sometimes it works / sometimes it doesn't. Has anyone else experienced this and if so did you get it to work ??

I have the sport option with bi-zenon HLs and am not able to figure out how to use the switch to have the HLs off during the day. the settings on the left and right seem to not turn off the HLs when it is daylight. the setting in the center leaves only running lights and does not turn off when the car is shut down. the instructions in the manual are not clear . can anyone help?
