does anyone know the resistance range for a 122S fuel sending unit. There are several universal units that will fit but they come in a variety of resistance ranges. I want the replacement to work my original gague.

Does anyone have an idea where I could get a new (or used) speedometer cable for my 4-speed?

I own a 62 122 and have no idea how to install the window scrapers... I have the chrome piece and the scraper itself, but it looks like there should be a mounting piece but have no idea what it looks like or where to find it.

any help would be appreciated.

Does anybody have any thoughts about which carb is better on a B18 for daily driving, a Weber or the stock SUs. Nobody around here drives a 122 so it's hard to get an opinion.

Does anyone have any experience on adjusting (or if it is adjustable) the BW35 (Automatic) transmission on a 122s. Mine gets around ok but bumps into gear pretty hard at times. Once it gets going it's fine but shifts down hard again sometimes when I am coasting to a stop.

My rear carb spills petrol at a scary rate from the little vent by the fuel line, do any of you know the problem? could it be the fuel pump? i ask that cos the petrol was still pumping out for a few seconds AFTER the engine stopped running, any help guys??

Oh yeh i put my finger over the hole and the motor cut out!

I plan to do a transplant on my four door as a winter project from an Automatic to a four speed. I have access to a 1966 wagon. I understand that some wagon componants are different. Can anyone tell me if the tranny, drive shaft, flywheel etc interchange with the wagon?

Does anyone know a reasonable source for replacement floor pans. The couple of places I found on the net were way out of line. I repaired the right rear and my front pans were good with a couple small repairs, but the left rear just needs cut out along the edges and replaced. I could probably build one but I’m not sure it would look quite right.

I have a noise coming from the rear of my car (66 122s) that I assumed was my differential wearing out. There is a grinding noise when the car is in motion. But...lately I have observed that when I am going around corners the noise is much worse.
Could this be a bearing instead? It isn't too bad and people aren't stopping to stare yet, but it is clearly noticable...

After hours of having my screw driver in hand and listening to my SUs
suck, I broke down and bought a gauge to balance the carbs. Does
anybody have any idea what the suction should be (PSI)? I set it at
7 because it seemed to smooth out there but I don't know if that is
right. It still is a cold blooded bugger but runs great once it is
warm with your occasional cough...

I am dickering on an old 122 sedan. The rear end is a little loud. Are these hard to find, expensive. Should this be a deal killer.

My 1967 122 S horn just started honking today while driving. We stopped the car-- and turned everything off-- and then just when I turned the key (power) on-- it sounded continuously again. transmission. (BW35) I have looked in all of the parts catalogs and
can't find any such animal being made anymore. It is about six inches
long with a 1" hoop on the ends. It looks kind of like a dog bone. I

My '65 122s with rebuilt engine and tranny (5000 miles on rebuild) has started making unusual sounds in 2nd and 4th gears. The problem is most noticable when the tranmission is cold. It is not a grating sound, it sounds like breaks dragging, but coming right from the transmission tunnel. Also, it tends to make the noise when i let off the gas. I...

Does anyone know if the differential on the 122s is the same on an automatic as it is on a stick? I'm guessing that it is but I'm not sure.

Hi guys. can any 1 help me i have a Volvo Amazon 131 1970 20L. It has 55.000 miles on clock. I picked it up for banger racing but havent got the heart to race it its in too good of a condition to race.
