I've been looking at installing tweeters in the rear doors of my S40 R-Design and am having trouble finding exact sizes that would fit. I've read some other posts on forums and they have purchased aftermarket tweeters but have had to cut them down to size.

I read on one of these forums someone re-did their front grille with materials from HomeDepot or somewhere. This seems like a good option for me, rather than paying the expensive amount some aftermarket shops want for a replacement grill.

after rebuilding i had a srs airbag service error after about 5 seconds of car ignition being on
so i stripped the car apart again but could not find a problem all plugs seemed to be back in etc

I am waiting for my new S40 with an IPod/USB interface, now I do not own, nor want to, own a IPod. So I ordered it for a 2.5 inch USB powered external HDD.
Its a 120GB FAT32 storage device.
Now I can not seem to find any confirmation that it actually will play the music. Can anyone confirm that this setup will work?

Hey guys, just joined this forum after a buddy of mine was having problems with his HID conversion kit he bought for his 2007 S40.. Well it seems we have gotten a kit that is 100% plug and play and does not require any drilling, homebrewing resistor packs etc.

I have an 06 S40 that I have had for a week. I got into the car this morning and the drivers door window control panel would not work and neither would the unlock button. I went into the menu on the radio and set the door auto unlock off and then back on and the problem seems to be fixed. Anyhow I was just wondering if this control panel not working properly was a common problem?

Got my Volvo HIDS working by bypassing the PWM signal from the headlights but what is the resistor level to correct the bulb out?

HIDS use 35watts, volvo senses 55watts. Been told i need a 20watt 15ohm resistor? I understand the 20watt bit as the car is 12v, but why / or how have they calculated 15ohm?

Confusing. I have a 10watt 15ohm wirewound resistor already...
