i have a S40 T4, and have had a software upgrade done on my car. i have read that i should upgrade my diverter valve to avoid any problems that might occur due to my software upgrade.

what are the facts behind this? should i change my diverter valve or should i keep it as stock and fit a dump valve instead.

You mentioned you use Mobil 1. I also use Mobil 1 and have been for years in all of my cars. Do you think there might be a chance that the Mobil 1 is causing the problems?

Help! I broke my power antenna and the car wash and ordered a replacement. Step 1 says to remove the nut the is holding the mast in outside of the car. The nut turns and goes up the bolt it then gets near the top but will not come off. It just keeps turning and turning while it stays in place. Is there a trick to getting this nut to come off so I can remove the old mast?

The release lever in the car is loose when you tug it, so the cable must have become detached from the opener at the bonnet end.

I have just bought a 98 S40 1.8. got it home and parked it up and noticed the RH indicator wont go out. Did a little investigation and it doesnt go out when i take out any of the fuses labeled LIGHT or LAMP, and also doesnt go out when i remove any relays. just stays on. solid. constant.

Any ideas?!?!
