I have a problem with my '97 850 GLE. Not really getting into gears, like stuck in neutral. RPM goes up, then it goes off as if it was stuck by the brakes or in clutch. Look at the trans fluid and it was brownish in colour. Then the transmission arrow went up, followed by the lambda light. Car won't get into gear at all.

Changed the fluid. It move for about 10 - 15 meters, then...

I need some body work repairs on my "skirted" S60 T5 - recently lost a rear bumper due to some clown rear ending me.....and have some scrapes and scratches to fix

If I go to federal auto it will kill me to pay the charges there - also as the car is now out of warranty I would like to take it to a Volvo specialist but not one of th emain dealers for servicing

I was just told by my mechanic that 3 out of 4 of my S60T5 17" original Amalthea rims are bend and no longer round. Hence the car starts to wobble a bit at speed of 160-180kph. My car just clocked over 23000 km, 15mths old. I'm a careful driver hmm..let me qualified that a careful fast driver. And I have never run over any major humps/bumps that would cause such destruction to my rims.

There has been much talk about the ETM - Throttle Body Problems in 1999-2002 Volvos on this forum and other Volvo forums.

Summary - 100% failure rate...

It says here that in the USA Volvo owners with problems can get it replaced for free and even if they had paid in the past they can get a refund.

How about us Volvo owners here in Asia with lousy consumer...

A friend shared with me, just last weekend that if you suspect any of your rims are damaged (uneven, etc), you can have them repaired for less than RM100 for all fours, in Klang...

In his case, three of the four rims were damaged, and it costed him RM60 to put them back in order. Minus some scratches, the black 855T5 then "flew" again...

Hi there , i'm new member of this forum from MALAYSIA ( South East Asia ) driving a year 2000 V 40 T 2.0 ( phase 1 model ) and i think this 163 hps model are diffent from the US but may similar to Euro model , brough it from used car dealer a year and half ago, still happy with engine performance but very unhappy on the Body trim especialy on the rubber part as the hot weather in my country...
