Feature my ride Mark forum as read and return

Hi

Took in my 2006 S60 for its 36k service

They told me my left tire has a bulge (i can see it too) and secondly my front brake pads are at 4mm so I should replace them

Since I am returning it for lease next year, I dont want to drop an extra grand on these things

Can anyone suggest me some places in Toronto or Mississauga

Has any one recently imported a 2008 xc70 from the US? I am trying to find a speedometer metric conversion fix with out having to buy the instrument cluster. Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated.

Time for first service on my C70. I would like to take it to service - but not to dealer. I am weary of kids in Canadan Tire and similar. Any shops that are reccomended? Cheers.

I just came across a 96 855 turbo and it nneeds a brake job in the rear. Rotors and all. What a good estimate for having the job done? I'm not too adept at doing it. And where should I take it. I'm in Toronto Canada.

We had a great success in last year and this year track lapping events. Now 2008hot season almost finishes, our 4th lapping @ Mosport DDT is coming on October 13th.



For this DDT lapping, it will be a great opportunity for newbies/beginners to bring your rides out (even your car is stock and running all season tires), we will have a longer warmup period on Oct 13th, and special setup for the newbies group.

I have a 2005 Lease on a Volvo XC70 in Ontario. I purchased the wearcare package, but did not receive a copy of the details of the package (addendum which was supposed to be attached to the lease, as described on the lease itself). It appears that I was ripped off on the lease, because they intend to charge me 16 cents per kilometre over my 80,000 km, 4 year lease. The issue is that we were told verbally that the wearcare package could be used to cover extra kilometres driven up to $3500. The car does not have any excessive wear, and is 3 years into the 4 year lease and is now at 81,000 km. I need out of the lease, and Volvo is now saying to Leasebusters that the wearcare package can only be used for 1000 km. I don't have any paperwork to support what the dealership salesman told us 3 years ago. HELP!!! Does anyone have a copy of what the wearcare package was supposed to cover (the paperwork I'm missing). Or, does anyone have any experience using it to cover more Kilometers than 1000?

I live in the kitchener area and i own a 95 volvo 850 and was looking to meet up with other volvo fans in my area.

Hello, I have a 98 V70 GLT that is in need of it's 2nd timing belt and am wondering if anyone can reccomend a good shop to get this done at. I've only been living here for about a year so any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

When I leave Halifax for home,
It's all niceness and smoothness, for the most part, except for the occasional speed pit near overpasses.

When I get off at exit 10, it all changes. Back to the land that time forgot.

Yeah, yeah...I live in the country. I love it. I don't like what they are doing to the city. And it's more fun to drive.

Hell on ball joints as well as struts and shocks. Not to mention the continually changing slalom course.

Im new to this forum and I am considering the V50 w/ Sport and Climate Package. Seems like the dealers in my area are not too familiar w/ all the car features. ie. does this year's model have the "Keyless drive" feature? If there are owners w/in BC, please offer feedback re: your dealer-client experience, and your overall opinion regarding the V50.

Canadian Volvo Club had there 25th anniversary show yesterday in Ilderton Ontario. The started out raining, but cleared up and was pretty good the rest of the day. Even with the bad weather starting off the day we still had 170 cars show up on the property. Many more sitting on the road. Many 544's of course P1800's and quite a selection of 850 T5R's surpsingly 4 yellow sedan and one wagon with a stick plus a couple of red, one sedan and one wagon. There was some really nice 200 700 and 900 series cars. A V8 240, a couple of Racing cars from the SCCA.

Hey, Just bought a S60. Didn't get the Volvo CD changer because the option is crazy pricy!!

Anyone know any place I can get a CD changer (the one that is in my trunk) for a good price and is compatible with the car?

I also thought about hooking up an I-POT and just download song and listen with it in the car....

I have had problems with the gas gauge in my 2004 XC70. The needle drops to empty without any reason. I have had it to the dealer twice and they can't seem to figure it out. It usually does it with 1/2 a tank or less.

Please help me!!
