i've decided to seriously consider getting one of my dream cars: a 60's dodge charger. now living in england its rather hard to find many chargers for less than £20k or $40k so i'm thinking of a decent one that needs some tidying up. the only problem is those type are only in the states. so, has anyone imported or exported cars to give me a rough guide of costs? and does anyone...

I have a 1989 Ford Mustang (I know, you guys are probly wondering what I m doing here), but heres the thing, its a 2.3L SOHC (great for gas, but that whole 88hp throws u back in to that seat way to much*thats sarcasm*), and i the poeple at the mustang forums keep telling me to go with a V8, but V8s are expensive (not only for the gas and swap, but for the stuff like tires, and speeding tickets)...

I saw a post about Rover and think of my dear ole Sterling. It is still running, I put about 12 miles on it per day (to work and back). Has about 110,000 miles on it. The only running problem is low oil pressure.
My wife recently hit a deer and took out part of the front end, radiator, lights. What a mess. Got it back on the road after 1 year of procrastinating and looking for parts.

I have a 1994 Mercury Topaz that apparently has a busted water pump. I noticed puddles of anitfreeze under my car and further evaluation suggests the leak is coming from the water pump. I was told, however, that water pumps will make a squealing noise when they need replaced. I've never heard this before. I would just like to find out if this is true and if it could possibly be something else.

well 2 weeks ago now i bought a new ford focus, and have been loving the gas mileage of it. sorry to say now though, that my old volvo 740 is now retired ( at 400,000 km's - engine still runs great ! ) so you might now see me around here too much anymore...

as a good farewell though i burned one tire down till it was smooth...the whole car was engulfed in smoke. it really wowed...

I'm going to be buying a Range Rover within the next few weeks. I'm wondering if I should go for the 2.5Tdi or the 4.0L V8 petrol with an LPG conversion.
I want one for all the towing we do, but I'd like some oomph when I'm not towing.

I'm sure you get cheaper road tax in the U.K. for LPG converted cars, also LPG cars are exempt from...

I Work across the street from a ford dealership, so last week I went over and checked out the new Mustang. It was mist green w/ a V6 and great rims.
Today I was at a gas station and a blue '05 mustang w/ a V8 and duel exhaust.
Sounded great for a factory exhaust system.

The pics in the car mag's don't do it justice.

Since the incident with the peugeot i'm debating what to get if the s40's been declared officially deceased. looking idly on auto trader at range rovers i did a quote. fire and theft for a 23 year old on a 1997 4.0 se auto is only £746.41. that's not bad considering that's group 15. my s40 is 10 or 11 and cost £600. maybe i'll go for that, with gas conversion of course!
