I have a 1987 240 wagon and the driver's side carpet gets wet when it rains. The rocker panel drains appear to be clear and there is no sunroof, so I'm thinking the culprit is the windshield seal. It appears that the water is coming in behind the dash and channeling around to the fuse area, and also in the corner in the back left by the driver's feet.

Got a 240 estate, 1993, which is very soft, so gonna get new shockers, and springs. Where in the UK is best to get this, I will fit them myself. Also is it worthwhile upgrading for better handling? lastly got a clonk coming from the front Nearside, any ideas? I was thinking anti roll bar? What do you reckon?

My manual crank sunroof stopped closing all the way. I think this coincided with the crank handle slipping on the gears, and probably came to it's limit before it could pull the cables around completely. The geqars on te crank look fine, and the cables and mounting brqackets appear to be in good shape.

My family owns a 1984 240DL. I spoke to you guys awhile back asking about the starter. We got all that worked out (turns out there are 2 places to connect the starter to the wiring harness. That was fun to figure out after we removed the thing, tried to trouble shoot it, found the second connector, then laughed at ourselves.

If I'm correct, (which is rare) my '92 245 only has a single, rear fog light on the drivers side. is there a practical way to have both sides light up like the earlier years? I think it's a neat feature, however the single light looks foolish to me.

I have a 1991 240. I have an issue with headlights and taillights burning out. Sometimes the taillights will even shatter. I'm not sure what might cause this. I have to replace the lights every month. Any suggestions before I take it to a shop?

My 92 245 will not engage into fourth gear. The OD light comes on and off whenever i depress the OD button, but most of the time the OD will stay stuck (no light on). It just wont shift into fourth?
Does the solenoid go bad/stuck activated?

I have one final question regarding my TD 613 OEM radio. Sound Quality. Does anybody living in Los Angeles or in any bigger city have clear and crisp reception with the original set up? Or is anybody else experiencing very busy/static frequency with occasional bleeping? Who knows if this is due to the antenna/the unit/the location (i.e L.A) or the age of the unit itself.

Hi! can anybody tell me why I can smell very strong gas fumes inside of my volvo, esp. when it's running? The fumes are about to choke me to death and I have a small baby that I don't want to be exposed to the fumes. My "check engine" light is also on. Anybody else have this issue?
