I have a 97' 850. When I turn my radio on the antenna will only go halfway up. Is there a simple solution or does the entire thing have to be replaced?

When I recieve calls in the integrated phone (S60 D5 2003), I don't see the name assigned to the number when it is in memory (SIM or phone).

The calling numbers appear starting with a 0 that is not correct. ??

My HU-XX was locked after I replaced the battery so I get a new Panasonic with MP3/WMA player

But I couldn't connect is because the new player has an ISA standart Plugs. Searched in the stores with no success:( So I made the converter by my own!

Just buy ISA connectors which was available and broke the locked HU-XXX take out the plugs and splice them together

Today my volvo dealer installed the volvo Ipod adapter for the HU-605 in my V40.
The dealer was a little surprised because the manual didn't mention this model on the compatibility list. I can say however that it works perfectly.

I have just had installed the Volvo Ipod adapter to the HU-650 radio in my Volvo S60, and to my big and unpleasant surprise I found out that it DISABLES not only the navigation wheel on the Ipod but also the Ipod display so you can NOT see what you are listening to - NOR use the regular Ipod menu!

I am fitting a universal Autoleads RMA 850 electric aerial to my Volvo S40 as a replacement.

I have been informed that the wiring is as follows.

1 green - command wire

got a used 01 s40.. couple of days back my battery died on me.. and my radio is now displaying off.. i tried to leave my radio on with the key in ignition for abt 3.5 hrs.. still radio is off.. got the code but cant enter it as it is still off...

I have just purchased a V70 T5 2001 and it has a single DIN radio installed. I now want to change it back to the original HU603 unit as I do not like the look of the single DIN unit with fitting kit/surround. I prefer the integrated look of original unit and if the sound is as good as my 96 V70 AWD with SC900 unit I will be happy.
I wondered is this a case of just sourcing a HU603...

In my V70 02 T l found a dealer inst Volvo 10 CD disc changer in the back. The sound system happens to better then my 05 S80 by far. On the radio there is no place to insert a CD, and it only can be loaded into the 10 CD cassette in the back.

Sometimes while driving l hear the CD skipping( maybe 3/4 sec's)but most of the
time it's perfect.

I own a 2000 S80 and the usaspec ipod adapter works great with my 2000 s80. From everything I've read the usapsec solution is much better than the ipod adapter sold by Volvo, primarily because it allows direct control of the ipod rather than the "hack" mentioned in previous posts for the volvo adapter. Also, it costs less.

This might help some of you - I put a burnt CD into my wife's 2004 s40T5 (I do it all the time, but this time I had too much information on it). The CD wouldnt read, just spinning around etc, then it wouldnt eject either. I cant get it out.

I am trying to avoid using the Volvo adapter if at all possible, because I think it is bullsh*t that I can't control my iPod while using the adapter.
