My problem is the following:

I own a Volvo V40 car. It has 2 front speakers, 2 rear speakers and a subwoofer that is coupled to the rear speakers. That is: the level of the subwoofer is controlled together with the level of the rears: rears louder means...

When I was looking around on Crutchfield, and I entered my car, it says it has 5-1/4" speakers. Fine. It shows front door, rear door, and rear deck. Problem is there aren't speakers in the rear deck. I have them in the dash, front door, and rear door. Also, for each category, it shows different speakers. Won't any 5-1/4" work?

I'm trying to find suitable replacements for the stock speakers in my 93 960 wagon. 3 of the 4 door speakers are DOA. I have no issue drilling them out (right side are out now) but I have no clue what speakers will fit. The hole positions are a little off from the one set I did try.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Got a double DIN Pioneer DVD/GPS system AVIC D2. I want to install it in my 2004 Volvo S80 T6. So my questions are:
-Have anybody ever tried installing double DIN systems in Volvo S80/S60 etc.?
-What harness would you recommend to buy (if any)?
-I found two part numbers for Volvo double-din adapters: 8622875 and 9491220. Anybody tried them?

So..First off I ditched my stock 1992 volvo 940gl deck, got the harness and mounting kit. I know what I'm doing but the problem is I cant find the amp bypass that the second connector plugs into. The first one power and so on was the one I pulled from the deck but I need to follow it to the connector for the bypass and it slips into places I cant see Ive had the thing ripped completely apart...

1st timer here. Anyway I wonder whether any auto electric whizz-kids out there can advise. My 8 years old V40 1.6 petrol seems to have imobilised. I took the battery out to recharge it and when I put it back in the car would not even turn-over. The emmission control lamp is flashing rapidly.

I recently purchased an '03 s60 2.4t.

It has the HU-613 in it. I'm pleased with the overall audio quality, including very respectable bass.

However, I would very much like a cd changer (the in-dash in the HU-803 seems nice) and an iPod connection.

And if I were creating a wishlist, I'd also add in the RTI navigation.

The factory setting for radio freq skips....ie the radio only goes 100.1, 100.3 etc..

I want to be able to select 100.2 or 100.4. I know how to select the hidden codes in the radio and note that if I select "AUS" (Austria? Australia?) that the radio will then allow me to select the freqs I want. I "save" the setting...
