Might be a stupid question but I recently purchased a 2007 XC90 with navigation.

My Mini Cooper has an address book with like 60 entried, yet for the life of me I can't find an address book feature on my Volvo.

All I see is last 20 destinantions.

Am I crazy or just missing a menu when in the nav?

I have a 1999 V70R, and wondering if I can use the newer volvo key-fob style (the kind where the key is inside the remote; like VW's)
I know I can engrave the key, but I dont know if the remote will still work, or if theyre the same and I can program it.
If I can program it, does anyone know the instruction for programming new remote keys?

I ordered a 2007 XC90 from a dealer back on January 12th. The dealer estimated a delivery sometime in March. I called in to the dealer to check on delivery status yesterday and now they say it is going to be May! Approximately 4-5 months!

For people who have ordered their Volvo what is your experience? I would expect people who live on the East coast USA...

OK last night I got the feeling that I shouldnt drive my 440 the 46 miles to work today, and that I should use the gas guzzling 940 turbo instead. I had no idea why, but I took note and did it.
This morning on the way in to work I came round a series of S bends onto a patch of ice with a car straight ahead nose in the ditch tail end across the road- with the ABS the 940 easily got round this...

Hi there, I got myself a 16" breaker bar recently to make it easier to undo the wheel bolts.

A breaker bar seemed like the ideal tool to use (correct me if i'm wrong), the extra length giving a bit more leverage and all that.

Now I know it was only a cheap one but surely it should withstand undoing a wheel bolt - the first time I used it the knuckle joint started...

Wanted to know what manufacturer do the Volvo community at large uses the most. This is by no means scientific or super accurate, but is a lot of fun. I myself will use Mobil 1 syn, but might change if others tend towards another brand.

I have 2 volvos - 1999 C70 and a 2005 XC 70.
I plan to keep these 2 cars for a very long time. Volvo says it is ok to go 7500 miles between oil changes. MY "old" rule of thumb with none synthetic oil was 2500 mile oil and filter change intervals. I now use full synthetic oil with no additional oil additives (i.e. TuffOil) in my mentioned cars....

I can only use speed 4 on my heater fan, speed 1, 2, and 3 dont work. I have installed an new heater fan motor resister (which has helped in the past) and I still only have the fourth speed. Anywhere else I should be looking?[

I just purchased a 1999 C70 and the prior owner’s wife added fake wood to the dash and other areas. The section that she added to the glove box door is starting to come off and we would like to remove all of it. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Europlates that can be customised. Authentic imported euro plates. Blue left band with S (Sweden). These plates are stamped.

Also available here new, swedish flag instead of standard euro stars
