-new Stainless Steel exhaust

-generator was removed and a 12 volt alternator installed
-new starter
-new axle bearings
-wiper motor (used one installed)
-control arm bushings replaced
-clutch master and slave cylinder replaced
-new shocks
-brakes were done
may be a couple other things too that I forgot.

All told I think over $2000 has been spent on mechanical things. It starts very easy and runs fantastic, it needs a little body work on the right front fender and a paint job. There is some rust. The interior needs some TLC as well, it needs a new headliner, seat covers, carpet. A couple of the windows don't roll down and the speedometer does not work. All the glass is good except for the vent window in the drivers door.

It used to be our second car, now that it is our third it is being neglected and is for sale, no rush to sell, but if you can give it a good home let me know.

1995 Volvo 850 Turbo
This car currently runs and handles great, and averages 27mpg on the freeway. It currently has a “Salvage Title”. The original owner salvaged it due to the engine “blowing”. The engine was replaced with approximately 170,000 miles on it. The ejectors and fuel pressure regulator are both new. All the rubber tubing on the engine has also been replaced. The automatic transmission currently has a leak from the seal, so needs to be monitored. The air conditioning also needs to be checked out. I am selling this, because I purchased a new Volvo. The interior and body are in nice condition, with a few small dings. The car was just put in “non-op”, so license and smog will have to be done. Just took it of the road, lots of power and great handling. $1000.00

bought this from the estate of a little old lady (rip) who bought this new in 1983,drove it around town until 1987 and then stored it away in her garage until this spring,when i purchased it.
it's got 34 thousand original miles,,original tires with plenty of good tread left and lots of new parts this summer. had the dealership put in a new battery,fuel pump,thermostat,fuses,and replace dried out hoses and belts.
this car runs as new. tan with yellow and brown tweed interior. four door sedan with two tiny dings on the driver's side doors and a little surface rust just starting.
no tears,rips or burns in the upholstery,,it's in very,very nice condition.

I am based in the UK (Hampshire) and have just bought a V50 (registered July 2007). It is fitted with 18" Medea wheels which are in spotless condition and fitted with Pirelli P-Zeros all around (standard fit) with at least 5mm of tread on each (one is actually brand new).

Does anyone have a set of 18" Medusa wheels they wish to exchange, the wheels must be in good condition original Volvos part and fitted with Pirelli P-Zeros.

Hello guys and girls, first post here.
Selling my 1986 760 turbo automatic leather interior and sunroof. Car was bought with a blown turbo 3 years ago almost and since then it mostly stayed in the garage. I changed the turbo, engine harness with a not crumbled one, injectors and AMF and also cleaned the IAC valve. I used for about a month after those repairs and stored it back before winter came
The car has 2 holes in the floor so that;s what I started doing but stopped because other priorities. The car runs and does not need an inspection.
It's a great car for a project or to make it a winter beater or daily driver with a little bit of work. It's also great for parts, as you can see just the parts I changed are worth 300 dollars. It also comes with a full tank of gas with Seafoam added when stored (super grade worth about 100 dollars at today's price). The car has 4 mags and 4 steel wheels. Has about 260000 km IIRC

Engine was running well until a month ago. After doing some tests and replacing a few parts to no avail, it turns out the Mass Air Meter failed. Haven't been able to find one in the junkyards, and a new one is over $600.

I will be willing to ship smaller parts at the buyers expense, but anything that can't be boxed is Local pickup only.

Perfectly straight except for a large dent on the passenger side fender and a scrape on the passenger front door.

Greetings, I'm a newbie here. Just picked up a '03 XC90 T6 AWD to replace my wife's '00 S70 GLT. It's really nice, I like it better than my '02 Acura MDX (which is now for sale!). I plan on hanging around this forum to learn as well as contribute (I do most of my own service and maintenance work) into the future.

I bought the XC used from a relative and my wife decided she didn't like the running boards, so they're off and taking up space. So, they're for sale! They're in good condition and all hardware is present and accounted for. SO, I'm thinking maybe $250 is a fair price, picked up from Central, FL.

This is a great car, I have been using it as a daily driver with no issues. Just about everything has been replaced or repaired in the past couple of years. Car is in Coatesville, PA 19320. I know Volvo's aren't german cars, but if you put a euro style licence plate in front of your Volvo, it gonna get a superb euro look.

And anyway, Volvo cars are availiable in Germany, isn't?

These plates got sticker seals, damaged by law, but not so damaged. The condition of the plates is almost mint.

This swap looks as if it was factory. With 400hp this thing really flys!. I have been daily driving this car for the last 3 months and would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. With the 3" cutout closed this car is quiet. The only thing that gives it away is the slight rumble of the cam and whine of the blower. The engine & transmission have less than 20k miles on it and the swap has around 3k miles on it. The body has just over 200k on it, although you would never guess by the condition. The interior is tight everything works well. The A/C is all there but lines need to be made & the A/C compressor needs to be wired. This is a rust free car. I purchased the car with the swap already completed and got over 10k in PARTS receipts. I literally have two folders packed with receipts & records so I will cover just the main.

Hi.

This is my west coast-raised 1998 R. It currently has 103K miles. I have 17" chrome aftermarket Volvo wheels wearing Michelin Pilot Alpin tyres. Everything else is stock. I clean and wax her regularly, and have been very conscientious about preventative maintenance. Used semi-synthetic oil all along. You will find the condition inside and out to be exceptional for this generation V70R. Classic looks, pulls hard, ride is smooth.

I have plenty more shiny photos, and details, for you if you like. Just ask!

I was going to include the Illustrated Volvo Buyer's Guide by Matras (1993) which covers the beginning up to the 850 before finding out you can get it from Amazon for ridiculously cheap. I've got the VW, BMW, and Mercedes versions too. They were hard to find back when I bought them. I definitely recommend picking up a few for your favorite makes.

Black 1993 940 wagon for sale. 211k. The good: leather; power windows, locks, seat; new stereo; very reliable; passed the 210k maintenance with flying colors; new tires at 207k. Hi all
First post here because I used to post on the Volvo Owners Club Forum but theres some weird dispute going on so they have temporarily shut them.
I am selling my 850R as an ideal project car for someone.

It has been through the mill a bit and needs quite a bit of work to get it mint again.

I had owned the car for about 3 months when I seized the engine going through a flood, it was a Cat D insurance write off but I bought it back from them and got a replacement engine dropped into it by an independent Volvo Specialist. The trip mileage shows about 115K but I was told by the breakers that the engine I bought had about 85K on the clock and the Volvo chap reckoned that was probably accurate due to the good condition of the engine.
That was about 1 year ago and so I reckon the engine has done maybe 95K.

Engine and Gearbox are absolutely fine, goes like a train and boost levels are correct.

The car is out of MOT and Tax now and I will list below the things I am aware off that need attention.

Drivers side front wing dented
Rear door on drivers side dented
Lower front spoiler broken and held together with cable ties.
Slight dent in Drivers side rear quarter but I have been told this can be repaired.

I have sourced all the body panels and I have the phone number and email address of the supplier, each part is about £45

Exhaust is blowing badly from the Cat back.

Both front tyres are worn out although there is a brand new one on the alloy spare in boot.

Front right wheel bearing is noisy going round left hand bends, I think the Hub assembly is about £70 from PartsForVolvos.com.

Lambda light comes on intermmitently although this doesn't seem to affect performance or running of engine.

Rear windscreen washer doesnt work, wiper is ok.

Reversing Lights dont work, I have no idea why, switch may have been disconnected during Engine Change.

Aircon hasn't worked since engine change I guess it must have lost its gas during engine change, was working fine before.

Handbrake needs adjustment.

I replaced bottom wishbones and droplinks about 10K miles ago, but it does rattle over bumps a bit, the suspension on these cars take a real battering.

The interior is the cream suede leather combo and its in need of a good valet, drivers seat is pretty grubby.

I think
