I have a 88 Volvo 780 Bertone V-6 for sale in Chaplin CT zip 06235.It's in rough shape but not rusty.I had a another motor(78k on it) swapped in a year before I parked it.Also had new exhaust installed at the same time.The car starts and runs ok but it had an electrical issue where sometimes it would not start.10 minutes later the car would start and run fine.(Fuel pump or fuel pump sending switch?) The car has been sitting for several years due to the electrical issue and also was developing a problem with the steering rack.For me the car needs way to much work and $$ to be restored.I suppose I could part it out then sell the shell to the junkyard for scrap but I would much rather sell it to a Volvo enthusiast who knows how rare and cool these cars are.I'd like $600 for it as I can get $300 from the junkyard not including the catalytic converter and alum rims but am open to discussion.

I no longer need my 740. Low milage for the age of the car (150k). I will post some pictures later today hopefully. Just wanted to let everybody on the forum have first crack at buying a diesel 740. Interior is clean, no rips, just some discoloration on the rear seat where the sun beats on it (FL vehicle). Seats are the velour Fabric. The dashboard is cracked (again FL vehicle). White exterior is in excellant shape except around the windshield where there are dings from a branch. It has a newer fuel injection system on it (very expensive). It has the 4 speed plus overdrive manual transmission. The push button to get into fifth only works when car is warmed up. I have some extra parts to go with it, such as a clutch, hubcaps and timing belt. The motor is the d24t which is a 2.4l inline 6 turbodiesel.

Oh, and it gets 30-32 mpg.

I have a very nice pair of rear arm rest panels up on ebay.

i have a 98 v70r awd with 178000 miles on it, the car is silver with black interior. It runs and drives great but i got t boned by a lady on the driver side door so i am selling it as a whole for 2000 dollars or going to part it out. I have 240 dl, wagon, white, stickshift. The car is running. 170xxx miles. I believe this are original miles. Body and interior are in rough shape. Rust did set in.
Motor has check engine on. Faulty injection system. New Oxygen sensor, new air flow sensor, in last 4 years: new rpm sensor, new distributor cap and runner, new wires, new mail relay, new radiator, new main brake caliber, new front brakes, including hubs and disks, new wiper's motor and other bits and pieces.
It was somewhat a fun to keep her running, however i don't feel the fun anymore. Besides she is rusting.

Hate to see it go, its been a great caR for the wife and she's loved the hell out of it but its getting to a point I will have to put my daughter in the trunk, or leave her behind on road trips.

Being that its illegal to stuff her into the trunk, I've decided to trade her in - Oh... oops... I mean look to sell our S60R.

Stats on the caR:
- - 74,282 miles as of this post. My wife drives it daily to and from work, so +/- 15 miles a day on it if she does not take the long way home.
- - Its got all the standard R goodies, + navigation.
- - Brakes ( rotors and pads ) were replaced about 5K miles ago
- - Tires wear true, lots of rubber left on there still yet.
- - Pegs have some curb love, but are not terrible.
- - Starts and runs great, no codes, pulls hard and really is alot of fun to drive.
- - We had an area repaired about two years ago on the rear drivers side due to someone in the VA Hospital backing out of a parking slot and pin striping our caR w/ the side of the bumper. Been repaired by reputable shop, cant even tell it happened but in all fairness I'd like to disclose it.

We're looking for $13,500 OBO, I have a clear title in hand no hassles with banks, credit unions, ect.

Hey guys, I havent had a volvo in a while so I had to create an account, but I found this when I was cleaning my house so I figured I'd sell it. It's an OEM small tachometer, 52mm i believe. I bought it and put it in my 1993 240 back in the day, and I pulled it out after I wrecked it. I tested the other day and it worked fine, it still has the bulb and all the wiring on the back. Unfortunately, I didn't think to get the plate or the rubber grommets, so those are not included. Not sure how much these are worth these days, but it wasn't cheap when I got it, so I'll ask $60 OBO, buyer pays shipping.

I just bought a 2000 V70, and have no use for the 3rd row seats. They are leather, black, and in excellent condition. I will include the belts and all the mounting hardware.

No idea what they are worth, will start with $400 shipped or best offer. If you can swap me your normal (black) trunk cover I will knock a considerable amount off.

I had these exhaust tips fitted to my XC60 T6 for 14000km/8700miles and have just replaced them with round tips. They are in excellent condition with no scratches. They fit S60 six and five cylinder cars with double exhaust tips - and of course XC60s with six cylinder engines.

I have a Volvo xc70 in met blue on a 2000 plate, 2.4 T Auto 134k not 139k

The best car Ive driven yet, faultless engine and box, car is very clean, 1 or two small dings but nothing of note, very clean presentable car, Will do 30+ on a run, 15-25 in town, with conservative driving.

4 good tires with 80%+ tread, everything works, generally a great car have a list of the old mot's currently mot'd for 11 months, 1 months tax remaining,

has had the firmware update on the box and changes superb, Tiptronic works as it should, no rattles or bangs, no smoke, starts A1 as volvo's do

only notable bad point is that it has a slight weep from the bottom pulley (oil seal) been quoted £60 + part its not dripping or leaving oil stains on the drive, just a damp patch on the underneath, not losing oil at any alarming rate, a drop a week if that.

the car drives superb and feels tight and responsive, the suspension is perfect, exhaust is good, interior is very good, full leather seats etc etc

The Cambelt was done, when the last owner purchased it at 100K

Looking to trade a set of American Racing Mavericks 20x8.5 with Hankook Ventus 265/45/20 tires for your OEM setup (+ cash or depending on the condition and value). Wheels and Tires has about 15-20K miles on it. 1 of the tire does have a plug in it but holds air no problem. As you can see its still on and being used daily by my wife to go back and forth to work daily.

I have a 1995 Volvo 850 Turbo Wagon with just under 174,500 miles. The car runs very strong and has just had some new parts install this past March, shortly after I purchased the vehicle. I am the third owned of this car and had bought is from the second owner who had owned and very well maintained the vehicle for past 15 years of it's life. Since I purchased the car I have tuned it up, installing new VOLVO OEM Spark Plugs, Wires, Distributor Cap, and Rotor, Cabin Air Filter, Engine Air Filter, and Fuel Filter. Lastly I replaced the worn Upper Engine Mount and Firewall Engine Mount. There are some additional parts that where installed before I purchased the car such as a new set of wheels, BILSTEIN front and rear shocks and struts, iPd exhaust system, and new heater core. Also, the car has a newer set of tires which only have about 8000 miles on them. All oil changes have been done at 3000 miles and with OEM Volvo Filters and Valvoline Oil. This car has treated me very well and has had plenty of room to fit a lot of my stuff. If you like to bike ride, go hiking or are just an outdoors man, whether it be trips to the beach or to a lake to go fishing, this is the right car for you. You can easily fit 2 bicycles in the back of this car with the back seats down. The car does have a roof rack and for an additional cost I can discuss including cross bars and bike mounts if you are interested. I like this car but I have one too many and this car must go. When my 2005 S40 got to 250,000 miles I wanted a badge that would show it, but Volvo stopped making the 250K badges years ago. A quarter million miles is a major milestone after all. So instead, I had these decals made up in colors to match the badge. The idea is, (and I’m assuming you already have the 200,000 mile badge installed) to put a 300,000 mile badge on your car when it hits 210,000 miles and apply the “21� decal over the 30 in the 300,000. Then every next 10,000 miles you get to add or swap out another decal. (Make it a family ritual/event or something.) Then when the car gets to 300,000 miles you have a major celebration where you get to remove all the decals to reveal the pristine 300,000 mile badge in all it’s glory. (And get back to me if you want to start with a 400K version.)



What I'm selling is ONE brand new 300,000 mile Volvo badge and ONE strip of stickers. The other badges in the picture are just an example of how they can be mounted. As for the stickers, you have to cut them apart for each pair of numbers, then peel the backing before applying, just like license plate decals. And do note that the blue color match won’t be absolutely perfect between the decal and the badge. Same for the numbers, which are silver on the decals and chrome on the badge.
